The Journey Begins…

The Challenges, Struggles, Joys, and Victories…
encountered in…
“My Ministry.”
I’m a Minister, Teacher, Student, and Writer…

My passion lies in both study and teaching the “Word of God.”

This has led me to writing on the subject as well as speaking publicly. I’m very much concerned with the human condition and I try to relate to its issues from the “Biblical Standpoint.”
*****
I’m the founder of…
This is a Fellowship and Outreach Program that assist other ministries and ministers in giving care to God’s people.
We also provide resources and referrals to those people in need.
My Personal Statement:
“Having grown up in poverty, spent time in jail, and living homeless on the street, I know full well what it is to be in need. By the power and grace of God I now devote my life to the service of Christ, in the ministry of the gospel. My attention is toward an effort to assist those still suffering.
*****
“The Blue Sky Cathedral” is a Summer Outreach Program; developed by Pastor Steve Johnson.  It’s an open air Church Service for the homeless, the poor, and other suffering people on the street.  Along with his wife, Lorre, they have provided comfort, support, food, and “The Word of God”, for the past seven years.  The job is not easy especially when you consider there is no pay in the way of money.  There is no offering plate or requests made.  You might ask why they continue.  Theirs is a work of passion, which is why I stand with them.  We do this for the love of God and His people.  Preparations for the service are many, and the task is tiring; but the rewards and the joy can’t be measured. “The Blue Sky Cathedral”, their Ministry, is just a small view into… “The Hands Of God.”

*****
Jesus came to announce the message of good news to the poor; to reach those lost and suffering. “The Hands Of God Ministries”, has this ideal as its priority. The members and volunteers have made it their business to serve those in need.  This creates a need for the ministries as well.  We reach out to each other to provide assistance, training and, encouragement.  In doing this, better service and assistance can be dispensed to all the communities in need.  This column will attempt to show the work of ministry and it’s many different faces.  If any desire to become a part of this effort, or seek information… use this link.

”Become A Hand Of God”

It is my hope that this summers events, and all the other joys of this ministry will also be a joy and blessing to you… “My Readers.”
With the “Love of Jesus”,
Matt.

  3. I read your page and I must say I am touched at what I have read. The way you all are ministering to the lost. This is what I call being a servant. Jesus himself came to serve and that is how we are to be as well. I love your testimony and I know others who read it will be blessed.

God has so much in-store for those who are doing the Father’s will.

God bless you and those who are helping you and those who you all are helping.
